Let's Get Physical!!!

After our Pod meeting yesterday we went to this bar called the Rendevue or “The Vue” Jenny and I had 2 beers and played some shuffle board and I met 20 other members. It seems like everyday I meet 30 new people. Its hard to remember everyone’s names but I’m starting to catch on. I probly have 50 AmeriCorps numbers in my phone and I haven’t even been to the dorms yet. After “The Vue” I went back to Jenny’s and her housemates made me a “snack plate” of this spicy chicken rice stuff. I’ve been eating a lot of chicken lately by the time I come home I really will be clucking in the bronco with Mom and Buffey when we’re 4 wheelin. After dinner we played some truth or dare Jenga that was hilarious. Then I walked back to the house and fell asleep to Mom’s voice :)


This morning (Friday) I woke up 7:00 and went to Delaware for physicals. It was a 45 minute drive and it took about 4 hours for everyone to finish. I got a hearing test, a vision test, a drug test, a physical where I found out I have a heart murmur and I got a very awkward massage from an old lady. I also got a tetanus shot that I didn’t even come close to fainting (thank you thank you) I was very proud of myself. Me and my housemates took a picture with our nifty band aides. From left to right is Jamie, Stephanie, Beatrize, Megan, Sara and Me. After we left the hospital Deb (my Pod leader) drove us all to Season’s pizza which was pretty good. Then we went on a “Health and Wellness” aka Walmart/Target run. I got some envelopes so I can write back to all the letters I’ve been getting… eh hemm…
After Walmart we came back to the house and ate some chicken and rice (BAWK! BAWK!) and now I’m at the Wolf Den where there’s 30 other people online at the same time. And Becca is here. After this I’m gonna go back to the house and go to bed so Goodnight!


P.S. Mom if I fall asleep while talking to you, you can just keep talking :)

    BAWK BAWK BRRRIIIICCAAAAK!!! Soon you will be farting Feathers!!! We had a good time 4 wheelin!! The Bronco made it down AND back up with no problems. Me and dad made it home by 8:00. No Drama but We left fairly early. Wow we were in the hammers and we sat up high. We saw rocks falling and pretty big ones. One hit a guy in the head. (Blood everywhere is what Brittney said.)Then another rock the size of well double or triple the size of your head hit another guy and broke his arm. Brutal!! It was scary the climb up. Talk about a butt pucker!! Dad said it was double the people that was there last year. Sorry I missed talking you to sleep tonight. I didnt want to call you. I figured you are sleeping. Well I had better go. I will talk to ya later. Love Ya MOM

    Mom is crazy! I think you guys have a chicken insider too! Have you been to the Hammers? Sounds dangerous!

    When i saw the pic of you guys and your arms, i thought it was tatoos! haha! So are you sore from shoveling the snow? Sleep tight... dont let the daddy long legs bite!
